Mixamate today announced that it has become an Associate Member of the ASUC – the official UK Association for the promotion of professional and technical competence within the subsidence industry.
The ASUC promotes the interests of specialist contractors providing services in underpinning and subsidence repair techniques, engineered foundation solutions and retrofit basement construction. Membership is subject to a strict vetting process and those wishing to join must first undergo a technical, health & safety, insurance and financial audit and make a commitment to prescribed safety procedures.
Speaking on the Company’s admission into the association, Chris Smith, Managing Director for Mixamate and Chairman of the Batched on Site Association said: “Mixamate is extremely pleased to be a part of the ASUC. A huge amount of the jobs we are called into now revolve around basement work and underpinning, and we are seeing a big influx in screeding work. As the Chairman of the Batched on Site Association and and the Managing Director of a firm that has taken significant steps in recent years to enhance the quality of its own in-house testing and service technologies, I am very pleased to be affiliated with an organisation that takes an equally thorough approach to high standards and quality control within the industry. We look forward to working with the ASUC as closely as possible.”
Mixamate has undergone significant expansion in 2017, increasing the size of its fleet with the addition of several new Concrete Pumping Trucks and Screed Pumping Trucks. Earlier this month, the company announced the launch of its new Liquid Screed service, allowing for the delivery, mixing, and pumping of screed from a single vehicle. The company looks forward to providing extended services to the underpinning, screeding, and basement sectors.
