The Sea Cadets in Romford were in desperate need after cowboy builders left them stranded with uneven floors and a terrible unfinished hall. Mixamate stepped in to rescue the situation – our MD Chris Smith is ex-navy, so this project was particularly close to his heart and he kindly offered for Mixamate Concrete and Screed to come in and provide a full solution free of charge.

To identify the best course of action, Mixamate technician Aaron carried out a survey and determined that the best solution would be a liquid flow screed. Over the course of a few site visits, this was supplied and laid throughout the hall to correct the flooring. Opting for this route enabled Mixamate to fix any issues left behind by the previous company.

Once complete, Aaron returned to site to inspect the finished product and take some photos, meeting Carol and the lovely Sea Cadet who are pictured holding up the Mixamate poster. Everyone was pleased with the end result and thrilled that Mixamate were able to transform the space free of charge in time for Christmas.
